This Ganesha idol is made of pure brass and has a golden finish. Lord Ganesha would be incomplete without his small, adorable vehicle (Vahan), a mouse (Mushak), on which he rides everywhere. he rat, as we all know, is very quick, alert, and can travel through all crevices. This symbolises that every creation, no matter how large or small, has equal value in the eyes of the creator. The mouse is thought to be a symbol of all-pervasive, all-knowing Brahman. As an animal of the dark subways, he travels all the way beneath the ground where no one can reach. It represents ignorance, which is afraid of light and knowledge. As a result, he teaches us to be vigilant and to illuminate our inner selves. Its quickness can be interpreted as a hyperactive quality that represents our senses. Thus, Lord Ganesha sitting on such a vahan represents his control over all the senses.
