This majestic handmade brass Nilavilakku is crafted by skilled artisans from bronze or brass. Cotton wicks dipped in oil or ghee are typically used to light the lamp. The lamp can be lit in three different ways. In one, only one wick is lit and directed towards the deity or holy space, while in another, two wicks are lit in opposite directions. Following the lighting of the lamp, the art forms are performed. Many functions in Kerala and the rest of India are started by lighting Nilavilakku. These traditional lamps can be given as a wonderful anniversary, wedding, birthday, Diwali, Onam, Pongal, and other occasions. Ideal for worship as well as special occasions/festivals. Ideal for puja, auspicious occasions, and Indian festivals.
