Brass Seated Ganesha Statue with Patina

A Wonderful Statue of Lord Ganesh is Seated with His Legs Spread Slightly Apart. His Enormous Belly Prevents His Feet From Touching.  His Generous Belly is Said to Hold the Entire Universe, Hence One of Ganesha'S 108 Names Is Lambodara (Large-Bellied Lord). He has a Snake Coiled Around His Belly Acting as a Belt. the Snake is One of Lord Shiva'S Symbols. Shiva is Lord Ganesha'S Father.  According to a Hindu Legend, Once Lord Ganesha, While Riding His Vehicle the Mouse, Lost His Balance and the Modaks He Had Eaten Fell Out of His Belly. He Put the Modaks Back Into His Belly and Tied It Up Securely with a Snake. the Base has Ganesha'S Vehicle the Rat on It. the Statue has a Beautiful Copper Color Patina.
